The University Programming Marathon (http://tekmovanja.acm.si/upm) is a nationwide competition of students in programming with an emphasis on knowledge of data structures and algorithms. This year, the final round took place in a decentralized form, where teams simultaneously competed at their home universities/faculties. This years champions of University of Maribor (UM) are Vid Keršič, Mitja Žalik and Matic Rašl forming the “BsoD” team. Second place went to high school “B” team, with Lan Sevčnikar, Matija Likar and Luka Lonec. Third place went to “Žgance Jem” team with Jakob Kordež, Martin Domajnko and Tilen Koren. Congratulations!

Due to the Covid19, this year's CERC 2020 regional competition has been postponed to the first quarter of 2021 and will also take place in a decentralized form. Teams from Austria, the Czech Republic, Croatia, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia and Slovenia will compete for the first prize.

The best teams from each regional contest will continue to the world finals, which are expected to be held from the 19th to 24th of June 2021 in Moscow, Russia (https://icpc.global).
